Meet our Team
Our staff is unique, both in the individuals who comprise us and the diversity of their background, talents, and education. Whereas other firms fixate on pastoral experience, we see value and strength in balance across a wider range of disciplines. Our staff includes pastoral experience, corporate expertise, and academic endeavor.

Background
Glen ventured out into the world as a youth in college, earning both a BS and an MBA. Deciding that he needed to “wear off” some of the education, he enlisted in the Marines. It worked… maybe a little too well… and took then a few years to wear back off. He went on to join a Fortune 40 corporation which taught me plenty, one of which was that he did not like working for large corporations. Eventually, he started my own company which served his wife, Stephanie, and him quite well over the years. They had a good team effort: Glen always taking on challenges, projects, and investments, while Stephanie maintained a steady position and stable income (with another Fortune 40). Together, they accomplished much and became successful by most measures. They remained singularly married since 1981, raised two sons who both became medical doctors, and now have six thoroughly enjoyable grandchildren.
As his personal ambitions began run their course, his sights turned to helping others, especially churches, forming the symbiotic perspective which foundationally constitutes SymbioDei: God and Man working together to further His will that churches grow and multiply.

Background
John’s father was a pastor. As is seemingly too often the case, John’s adolescent views of the church were negative. Increasingly rebellious, John refused to attend church, resisted discipline, and was eventually incarcerated. Rather than condemning him or his father, John’s church brought him care packages. The grace extended by the church was a turning point. Upon release from the state institution, he began to date the girl who would become my wife, Vicki. After two years of troubled marriage, both committed their lives to Christ. Over the next six years they became highly involved in the church, and their lives changed from rejection to submission.
Over the next ten years, they pastored two small churches. Both churches grew rapidly. When the denomination saw the rapid growth in both churches, they asked us to help plant a church in California. We were thrown into the “church-growth movement” about the same time Rick Warren was planting Saddleback. Those were hectic days. Although the new church grew, it wasn’t without cost. Seven years later, we accepted a call to pastor a smaller congregation in Colorado. Here, I learned the value of delegation and developed a new fondness for church committees. After 30 years, I grew to understand and appreciate the biblical roll of the pastor in relation to a growing church.

Consulting Areas of Interest:

Social Media Management
Background
DJ grew up in a church in which both of his parents served as children’s ministers. He attended a private Christian high school and later went on to graduate with two college degrees. He served four years as a Security Forces officer in the Florida Air National Guard (FANG). At one point in time, DJ considered a career in law enforcement, but ultimately opted to re-focus on his passion for writing and digital content creation. Over the years, DJ developed both unique and varied set of skills, working with businesses both large and small, Churches, non-profits, and likely everything in-between.
DJ credits the years spent working alongside his father, a fellow entrepreneur, for developing much of his work ethic, general people skills, and personal initiative. He married at age 20, and he and his wife now have two boys whom they home-school at their horse ranch in northern Florida. Aside from reading and writing, DJ enjoys running, and typically puts in several miles – every single day.
